Every time I design a new Adv, a company logo or an Artwork I use to spend a lot of time choosing the right colors. Color perception can really make the difference, shaping the message we want to send though our design or art. There are colors that we naturally associate to certain things, products and even human behaviour (for instance street signs or warning signs).

During my research about color perception I asked myself if there was a way to make shapes and colors interact with us in a more deep way? I needed a shape that was both smooth and straight so I decided to use a semicircular shape. Mixing these two types of lines can create movement and at the same time, if arranged in a grid, division and order.  To create movement and more complex colour gradients I’ve doubled the size of some semicircle and arranged on top of other shapes. This choice creates a second layer that can drive emotionally the observer through the artwork and guides the eye through the artwork.

The way semicircles are arranged in combination with the gradiend affect the way we perceive the artwork and creates a visual code to our emotions. The use of grafiendent was necessary to achieve a more complex path to follow for the viewer and a bigger “Emotional Spectrum”. Our feelings sometimes can be mixed (I can be happy, but a bit sad for something happened during the day) and the use of gradients help us to determine the exact feeling the artwork want to communicate.

There will be only 26 unique KOLORGRAM NFTs available at Opensea.

All the artworks are numbered and signed. Each Artwork is a 1/1 Edition.
